Fujimizu connects beyond the last mile for community engagement at the logistics delivery level.
beyond last
We look beyond traditional supply chain endpoints. There is more than just the “last mile.”
end design
Fujimizu focuses on the community and engagement with critical logistics in developing countries.
user tested
We test in the field, in the context and language of the real people who live beyond the last mile.
fujimizu connects
our core
Fujimizu works in developing countries where engaging community members is critical to the completion of traditional humanitarian aid logistics. We work with contextually-appropriate technologies to allow everyday people participation. Our aim is to make the beneficiaries of aid actors in the supply chain through mobile technologies.
- Designing for low resource areas where power and device availability may be daily issues
- Testing prototypes with real people and real delivery cycles to uncover proper incentives for use
- Using the technology that makes sense, whether it is old or new
ready to start?
We are able to quickly assess country capacities and technologies, resulting in prototypes that you can use in the field during your supply chain delivery.
About
Fujimizu started when we realized that supply chain technologies often needed deeper testing in developing countries. Our primary work has been with USAID-funded projects in the educational sector, working with large-scale book delivery systems in Africa and Central America.
